A Union Endicott High School graduate, a Harvard graduate, former linebacker for the NFL's Seattle Seahawks, Isaiah visited the Children's Home and shared his story. Isaiah's mother, Margaret, spent 12 years at the Children's Home from 1947 to 1959. Isaiah told his story about growing up in a household with an alcoholic father and the difficulties he encountered. The times they had no food and no money to pay the rent. He has a compelling story of a turning point in the 9th grade when he made a decision to work harder than everyone around him and to be a success.
