Effective July 1, 2008 the Children's Home will be opting out of the school lunch program, however we will continue to participate in the school breakfast program.

We see this change in our lunch time meal service as an opportunity to create a more dynamic and exciting food service program that will meet the expectations of our residents, staff and administration. This change will allow us to increase our variety of cold deli items as well as our hot entr￩e section and add some pizzaz and flair to our weekly menu by permitting us to add new daily selections and promotions.

The welfare of our residents is always our first concern when we consider any change and be assured that we will continue with our policy to provide fresh, healthy menus that emphasize good nutrition, meet the minimum daily requirements and promote positive life style choices that will be carried over into adulthood.
