The presence of children can expand and enrich our world - adding color and diversity, helping us to see things differently, simply.
We invite you to continue the tradition of adding color to the most fragile in our society - children, sometimes abused, some with emotional and mental disabilities who deserve to be given a chance.
We invite you to become an investor with us in providing a future full of color, vitality, balance and promise for hundreds of children and families.
Support innovative programs and their development to respond to emerging needs.
Diversify the Children's Home funding mix.
Secure the long-term future of the Children's Home.
Yes, it works hard for children and families. But there may be significant tax and income advantages for you as well.
Your gift need not be cash. You can give stocks, bonds, an insurance policy, or real property.
Designated or named gifts may be made with a gift of $10,000 or more . . . a wonderful way to honor or remember someone you love.
Many donors view an annual gift as part of an overall strategy for reducing taxable income.
You may also wish to give a "planned gift" . . . a legacy, as part of your estate, or as part of your long-term financial strategies.
Donors to the Endowment Fund can be specially recognized in a number of ways. Recognition of your gift(s) will be done in the manner with which you are comfortable.
A professional management team manages our portfolio of investments and is given oversight by the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors. The manner in which the agency invests and employs its endowment is also examined as part of the annual audit. A copy of our annual audit is available upon request.
A representative from the Children's Home can meet with you personally and confidentially to discuss your interest in the Endowment. Contact Rebecca Mebert, Vice President of Community & Donor Relations at 607-772-6904 ext 131 or e-mail
